The name of the building is Charoen Visawakarma Building but it is commonly called the 4th Engineering Building. The auditorium where we are having the event is on the 2nd floor. Engineering Building 4 is the tallest building in that part of campus.

For people taking the Skytrain, the nearest stop is Siam. For people taking the MRT (subway), the nearest stop is Sam Yan. Both are a 10 minute walk from the building.

There are three entrances to the Chula campus near Engineering Building 4: two on Henri Dunant and one on Phaya Thai. At each entrance there is a guard that can give directions to Engineering Building 4.

Is there a really cool place to hold Barcamp Bangkok 3 that we don't know about?

We have some good potential places already lined up, but is there one place, one totally AWESOME place that we don't know about?

What does that awesome place look like? It's someplace that can hold 500 or more barcampers, with 8 or more decent size rooms that have projectors, has great wifi available and has some really cool chillout spaces right outside the meeting rooms so people can meet, talk, have discussion and create whatever they want to. (Kind of like the garden at the first Barcamp Bangkok at Indus.) It should probably be someplace we can use for free, too.

What would be really great is if we can find an awesome place and we can use it for the next few Barcamps. It would be great if we could fnd one place and make that the place where we hold the next 4, 5, 10 Barcamps.

IMPORTANT

This is a training for PROGRAMMERS. It's not a technology overview, it's a HANDS ON PROGRAMMING WORKSHOP.

Attendees will need to bring a their own laptop to use to try example code.

Please, if you are not a programmer, do not register and take away a seat from people that are programmers and can gain valuable knowledge and experience from this event.
